Congratulations to our 2013B Maroon team for taking second place in the South County Spring Classic Tournament this past weekend! They were only one point shy of first place and won 3 of 4 games. In the match that represented the final, the boys created a majority of the chances in the game. However, we were matched against an opponent who worked out of their minds as a team to prevent our team from finishing our chances. The opponent managed to score an absolute banger from a set piece which was unpreventable even with an immense effort from our GK Enzo Cardoso-Simas. And the team fell short of being crowned champions by just one goal. 

Overall, these boys played amazingly as a team during the tournament, creating brilliant goals through the buildup and creative cooperation between mates. The boys worked together and became stronger through their experience of adversity and dissatisfaction from falling just short of the thing they wanted so much. They scored a total of 18 goals while only conceding 3, along with tallying two shutouts!
