As an organization, we believe in using our platform to create awareness and make a positive impact in our community. So, on Saturday September 16th we will be wearing yellow as a symbol of solidarity and support for children battling early childhood cancer.
It's easy to take our good health and the privilege of competing for granted, but not all children have the same opportunities. Many young warriors are bravely fighting cancer every day, and we want to honor their strength and resilience.
We would like to invite all parents/ supporters to join us in this initiative by also wearing yellow. By doing this, we not only raise awareness but also send a powerful message of unity and compassion to these young heroes and their families.
Additionally, if you would like to contribute further to this cause, donations on "Yellow Day" can be made directly on the St. Jude website: St.Jude.org or you can donate to St. Jude Children Hospital via Hollis Belger's website Juggling for Jude (The 18-year-old that is on a mission to raise 1 Million Dollars for St. Jude Children Hospital). On both links, all proceeds will go directly to St. Jude Children's Hospital to supporting children and families affected by childhood cancer. Every contribution, no matter how small, can make a significant difference.
Please mark September 16th on your calendars and help us make this day a meaningful one for our club and the larger community. Let's stand together to commemorate and support those who need it most.
