On Tuesday, September 26, the 2015 boys showed their community pride as they cheered on the Las Positas Men's Soccer Team vs Hartnell. All the teams (Maroon, Gold, and Evolution) were in attendance and played a halftime exhibition game. The game was a Fusion Family event as there are several Fusion Alumni on the Men’s team, and the current players were able to meet them before the game.
It was an exciting game with Fusion Alum Edwin Zabala (2003) scoring the game winning goal just second after the second half kicked off. Edwin was excited by the boys support and had this to say, "The game was close and having the young fusion ballers cheering us on was very motivating. Every time we made a pass, tackle, or even took a shot you could hear their support. It’s always great to inspire the next generation of players, especially knowing I once was in their position… wearing my fusion uniform. We thank them and their parents for making an effort to come support us."
Another Fusion alum, and youth coach Eddie Angeles said “Seeing all the Fusion boys out there gave us a big boost in morale hearing them cheer on the sidelines. Great to see the kids enjoying the game."

Thank you to the parents and players of our 2015 Boys teams for representing Fusion so well and supporting our alumni!
