Happy New Year! 

As Livermore Fusion Soccer Club officially turns 48 years old and soccer in Livermore now well beyond the 50th year mark, Fusion has taken a huge step in creating a full-service soccer club. Welcome to 2024, the most anticipated year in Livermore Fusion’s History. 

In the fall of 2023, we released an announcement stating the club had signed a lease for an indoor training center that would serve as the cornerstone for our players all-round development, The EDGE Performance Center! Now only weeks away from opening, we reflect on an action packed 2023 and brimming with excitement for what 2024 will bring us. 

Firstly, we must show a deep appreciation to our membership. The membership numbers have continued to grow beyond 2,800 players, meaning we are now at the highest number of members this club has ever serviced. It is your support that gives us the ability to provide what we can, and continuously strive to go beyond for our players. 

Like any good soccer team, it takes a talented group of employees to keep the club moving forward. Thank you to our wonderful staff for your dedication and pride in the service you provide to the membership. You all play a significant role that is Fusion SC and the efforts put forth have put us in the position we are today. My final and extremely important thank you is to our inspiring volunteer coaches and staff. You represent our values with the magnitude any youth soccer club could wish for, thank you. 

My challenge to everyone in 2024 is to ensure we have a growth mindset, not to be complacent or comfortable, but continue to improve and bring our youth the best we can. Our Board of Directors strive to find ways to develop our club and focus on what we can do better for our members. I think this approach has helped progress Fusion to its position today and a mindset that will continue our success. 

I hope you enjoyed the holidays, spent time with your close friends and family, and had time for reflection, and rest.
