Livermore Fusion Soccer Club has joined up with US Youth TOPSoccer. TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a FREE community-based training and team placement program for young athletes with disabilities. The program is designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any child, who has a mental or physical disability. The goal of the TOPSoccer Program is to enable young athletes with disabilities to become valued and successful members of the Livermore Fusion Soccer Club and US Youth Soccer family.
" The Livermore Fusion Soccer Club and TOPSoccer program has provided a wonderful opportunity for several of my Adapted PE students to participate and play on their own soccer team. I have seen a positive impact the program has had on one student in particular. He has made some great improvement in his interest level in soccer along with improvement in his skill development. This student is now able to kick the ball several times in a row as he moves the ball towards the goal, instead of just one (kick) and done. The coaching and volunteers (one for each athlete) were excellent. Thanks again for providing students with disabilities an opportunity to participate on a sports team in their community like everyone else."

Session times will be assigned based on number of registrations per age group.
Participants will be notified of their group assignment no less than 1 week prior to the first session.
LOCATION
Sunset Park > 1055 Geneva St, Livermore
All NEW participants will receive at no cost: Fusion jersey, socks & shin guards.
All players will be required to wear shin guards when participating. Cleats or tennis shoes may be worn.

Become a Volunteer or Buddy
The TOPSoccer program couldn't exist without Buddies! These essential volunteers (aged 13+) work side by side with children that may not have an opportunity to play sports otherwise, due to physical, mental and developmental limitations. It's a great opportunity to share the universal language and love of soccer with these amazing kids.
Each player in the program will be paired with a Buddy for all sessions, with added assistance from adult volunteers & Fusion staff to help ensure a fun, safe environment. Each volunteer/buddy that is 18+ years old will be required to complete a background check and fingerprint scan. There are no clearance requirements for minors.
All volunteers and buddies, regardless of age, will also be provided opportunity to complete a free training certification prior to the season start.
